Nordschleife - Nürburgring Has Arrived in Automoblista 2

The release of the Nürburgring Pack for Automobilista 2 was a little bit of a late arrival, due to the Nordschleife not being quite ready so while Reiza worked on that they let everyone including those without the Nürburgring DLC or Session Pass try out what was available including the Nürburgring tracks, GT3 and GT4 cars, getting some valuable community feedback before the full release.

Now having fully released I set myself up in the driving seats of all the GT4 and GT3 cars in the pack while only driving, what thankfully turrns out to be an impressively detailed new laser-scanned version of the Nordschleife.

Did I mention it is an impressively detailed version of the Nordschleife!? Well it is; along with additional roadside details that adds to the atmosphere and realism of the track, the surface details of the tarmac can felt really well in the FFB, though some of the GT3/GT4 cars seem to exhibit a bit to much of a bounce/rebound as you transfer over some of the cambers on the road, so there is still a slight amount more dialling in needed on Reiza’s part here as there is with AMS2 over all, but as they are showing time and time again, they are improving constantly and even with it’s current faults AMS2 and this DLC already delivers some best in class content.

It’s also worth noting that they are not done just yet as they will be releasing some additional layouts and variant of the modern track at the end of Nov 2020 and in 2121 there will also be historical versions added to the pack at no additional charge.
